What we store

This site uses a small script for the menu, the contact form, and a consent banner. If you choose Accept or Reject, we write a single value to local storage under the key ich_cookie_consent. That value is either “accepted” or “rejected”. It is not a tracking identifier and it is not shared with other sites.

Why

So the banner does not reappear on every page load after you have already answered. We do not run advertising pixels, remarketing tags, or analytics packages that set third-party cookies.

Rejecting

Rejecting does not block reading, navigation, or the contact form. If you reject, we do not treat that as permission to store the preference; the banner may show again on a later visit. If local storage is blocked by your browser, you will see a short message on the banner and the rest of the site still works.

Fonts and pictures

Pages load type from Google Fonts and photographs from a public image host. Those hosts may receive your IP address as part of an ordinary request. They are not our consent banner and we do not read a cookie from them for advertising.

How long

The preference stays until you clear site data for this domain or until you overwrite it. There is no expiry animation and no reminder designed to push you to accept.
